Please do not place within, because there are several people here who were only English monarchs, like John of England and Elizabeth I. Remember, there don't come British monarchs until 1603 and James VI. But even that's dubious, because it's more like the King of Scotland had power over England than that James VI was truly the British monarch. There's not an actual "Kingdom of Great Britain", of course, until 1707 and Queen Anne, who was swiftly followed by the Georges and the "modern" family of monarchs. Thus, since all the people on this list were nominally English monarchs, the only category that's "true" for these people is category:English royalty.
