Please do not place within category:British monarchs, because there are several people here who were only English monarchs, like John of England and Elizabeth I. Remember, there are no British monarchs until 1603 with James VI; even in his case this is dubious as in the real world, this was only a mere personal union of England, Scotland, and Ireland. There was no political entity Great Britain until 1707, although the DWU may diverge from our own universe and call these monarchs "British." Royalty of the Kingdom of England specifically must be placed in category:English royalty.
Both monarchs in their own right (kings and queens regnant) and spouses of monarchs (kings, queens, and princes consort) belong in this category.
