SPD

The SPD was a political party in Weimar Germany. The 'D' stood for Deutschland. As well as the DVP, KPD, NSDAP and Z parties, they fought the elections of July and November 1932. (AUDIO: The Alchemists)

When Adolf Hitler came to power in January 1933 and established the Third Reich, the Nazis denounced democracy, (PROSE: Just War, AUDIO: Just War) and quashed all opposing views. (PROSE: Timewyrm: Exodus)
