Vienna Salvatori made her debut in the Main Range story, The Shadow Heart, in 2012 alongside the Seventh Doctor. She later spun-off into her own series with a first, standalone story, The Memory Box, being released in 2013. Despite the character originating in a Doctor Who story and the Big Finish website stating that the series was a spin-off from a "Doctor Who adventure", this wiki does not consider Vienna a valid source due to producer David Richardson clarifying that he saw the series as "its own thing" and "not set in the Doctor Who world at all".

Vienna was an audio series released by Big Finish Productions. It focused on the titular character of Vienna Salvatori, played by Chase Masterson.

Vienna Salvatori debuted in the 2012 Seventh Doctor story The Shadow Heart. Based on the strength of the script,[1] a spinoff series focusing on her character was announced before The Shadow Heart was even released.[2] Her first standalone story, The Memory Box, was released in 2013 and included a reference to Kylo Sorsha as well as brief appearances of a Pakhar and a Slithergee. Vienna later became a recurring character in the Master! audio series.
