The Hungry Sea is the fourth story of The Cybermen series featuring the Cybermen on Mondas and the Silurians native to the planet. It does not feature the Doctor.

Synopsis[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Cybermen travel by airship across the sea to the Dark Continent . Their vessel is immobilised by a sea creature called the Fury and boarded by a group of Sea Devils led by the Seer. He tells them that they are the guardians of Golgoth, who sleeps on the Dark Continent, awaiting the end of the world. The Cybermen fire on their own engines to free the airship, which drifts onto land. They destroy the device controlling the Fury and command the Seer to take them to Golgoth.
