The Other Side was the fifth audio in BBV Productions' Audio Adventures in Time & Space anthology series and the fifth episode of the subseries The Time Travellers. It continued to star Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred as the Professor and Ace, close analogues of their BBC characters the Seventh Doctor and Ace.
It was the second of two "Ace Specials" which featured Ace separated from the Professor, who only made cameo appearances.
