Novelisation

  • This novelisation is based on the original television serial TV: The Sun Makers, written by Robert Holmes and shown from 26 November 1977.
  • The cover and information on the right are for the original Target edition. It features the artwork of Andrew Skilleter. (See below for information on editions with different covers).

  • Although not generally acknowledged as such, this was a rare occasion during the 1980s that the title of a novelisation differed from that of the original series, but barely: the serial spelled Sun Makers as two words, while the novelisation used the single-word form, Sunmakers.
