The Jigsaw War was the fifty-fifth release in the Companion Chronicles audio range. It was the eleventh story of season 6. It was written by Eddie Robson and featured Jamie McCrimmon.
Publisher's summary
A cell. Four walls, one door. Jamie McCrimmon can escape, but it means unravelling a puzzle of extraordinary complexity.
And there are more than just two players in this game. The Doctor is there. So is his opponent Side.
As a hero turns killer, and a rebellion becomes anarchy, the lines between good and evil are blurred. And so does the distinction between cause and effect ...

- Jamie tells Moran that he does not know what species the Doctor is or where he is from.
- Humanity has been in the Unheld system for 89 years. There is an uprising once every Unheld generation.
- The Doctor has been teaching Jamie how to read in his spare time.
- The Doctor considers Jamie to be the most reliable friend that he has ever had.
- The Doctor has never told Jamie where he obtained the TARDIS. He changes the subject whenever Jamie asks him. He believes that the Doctor may have built it himself.
- Side is a fifth dimensional being who is worshiped by the Unheld as a god.
Notes
- As was the case with AUDIO: Solitaire and The Time Museum, this Companion Chronicle does not feature any narration. It is a full cast audio drama with only two speaking parts.
- This audio drama was recorded on 31 January 2012.
