The Storyteller was a Doctor Who mini-episode written by Pete McTighe, and released in 2022. A trailer for the Season 2 Doctor Who Blu-ray and interview clips with various actors who had appeared in Season 2 appeared after the mini-episode and before the credits as a kind of ad break. A sequel to The Myth Makers, and possibly Frostfire as well, the webcast featured the return of Maureen O'Brien to the part of Vicki Pallister on screen.

Summary

Vicki is telling one of her stories. She conjures up images of the crash of the UK-201, telling of how she was once a lost orphan on Dido before a battered old police box entered her life. Their many adventures changed her life, before eventually she arrived on Earth circa 1200 BC to her new family. Vicki then teaches her granddaughter Sophia about the importance of storytelling in many art-forms, before Sophia urges her grandmother to tell her another story. Vicki remarks that Sophia's mother was less interested in her stories when she was Sophia's age, before asking which story Sophia would like to hear.
