Jane Hampden was a school teacher at Little Hodcombe and a friend of Ben Wolsey. She opposed Sir George Hutchinson's war games on the grounds that they were becoming increasingly dangerous and people were getting hurt. She helped the Fifth Doctor defeat the Malus. (DW: The Awakening)
