On 18 March, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1966 - "The Celestial Toyroom" was recorded at Riverside Studios 1. (TCH 7)
- 2000 - Recording for Winter for the Adept took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2002 - Recording for Excelis Decays took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2004 - Recording for Medicinal Purposes took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2008 - Recording for The Death Collectors and Spider's Shadow took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2009 - In a speech to members of BAFTA, Russell T Davies revealed production of series 3 of The Sarah Jane Adventures had been impacted by BBC budget cuts and had nearly been cancelled on three occasions.
- 2009 - Recording for Patient Zero took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2010 - A BBC press screening was held for The Eleventh Hour, during which producer Piers Wenger officially announced that a 2010 Christmas special was planned, and production of series 6 was set to begin in July.
- 2013 - Recording for 1963: Fanfare for the Common Men took place at The Moat Studios.
