Micawber's World was an artificial planet built around an asteroid located between Pluto and Cassius. In 3999 it was owned by Carrington Corporation. It was named for Chase Carrington's mother, whose maiden name was Micawber. That year it also played host to the Intergalactic Olympic Games.
According to Professor Thripsted's Guide to Having Fun in the Milky Way it was one of the most sought after holiday locations in the galaxy. (PROSE: Placebo Effect)

The Church of the Way Forward had a following on Micawber's World. There was a church built by a Christian based faith. The criminal Foamasi organisations Dark Peaks Lodge, South Lodge and Twin Suns Lodge all had an active presence during 3999 on Micawber's World. (PROSE: Placebo Effect)
