Lyons' Corner House

Lyons' Corner House was a cafe on the Strand. (AUDIO: 1963)

The First Doctor, Barbara Wright, Ian Chesterton and Vicki Pallister ate at the Lyons' Corner House in the early 20th century, shortly after they left Rome. Vicki especially liked the cakes, although she found the lack of lions or corners somewhat baffling. (AUDIO: Starborn)

Following the defeat of The Cold, Susan met up with John Brent at a Lyons' Corner House on 4 April 1963. They had tea and cake, which she described in her diary as "very grown up". (PROSE: Time and Relative)
