On 7 March, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1969 - Episode three of The Space Pirates was recorded at BBC Television Centre Studio 4. (TCH 14)
- 1985 - Recording for the charity record "Doctor in Distress" took place. Among the attendees were Nicholas Courtney, Nicola Bryant, Anthony Ainley and Colin Baker, the Sixth Doctor. The song, written to help prevent the BBC from cancelling Doctor Who, was later released on 15 March.
- 1999 - Recording for The Sirens of Time took place at Crosstown Studios.
- 2002 - Recording for the Sarah Jane Smith story Comeback took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2005 - Christopher Eccleston filmed his final scene as the Ninth Doctor.
- 2011 - Recording for Robophobia took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2012 - Recording for The Uncertainty Principle took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2013 - Recording for Jago & Litefoot: Series Seven took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2018 - Recording for The Eighth Doctor: Time War: Volume Two, The Planet of Witches and The Quest of the Engineer took place.
- 2019 - Recording for Warzone and Conversion took place at the Moat Studios.
