An Announcement from the Doctor was a webcast featuring the Eleventh Doctor that was released online on the day of the fiftieth anniversary of Doctor Who.


Summary

The Doctor materialises his TARDIS in space and opens the doors making an unseen second party aware they are to be joining him on his adventure.

Story notes

  • The story was released on the offical Doctor Who social medias.
  • The person that the Eleventh Doctor is speaking to is unseen. Clearly the narrative would have the viewers believe he is talking to a person off screen facing the TARDIS, giving us the impression he is talking to the viewer, but it'd be speculation to say he was speaking to the viewer as this is never stated in the story.
