Tardisode 1 was the first of the Tardisode series of mini-episode prologues to Doctor Who series 2. This Tardisode was a prelude to the episode New Earth.
Synopsis
Novice Hame is advertising the New New York Hospital, explaining to viewers how they never lose a patient. A female scream of help is heard and the camera cuts out.

- This is the first BBC-made Doctor Who production since the television story Mission to the Unknown in which neither the Doctor nor a companion appear.
- The BBC did not include any Tardisode episodes in the series 2 boxset.
