- 1914 - Roger Avon, who played Saphadin in DW: The Crusade and Daxtar in DW: The Daleks' Master Plan, as well as Wells in Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D., was born in Jarrow, England.
- 1916 - Michael Gough, who played the Celestial Toymaker in DW: The Celestial Toymaker and also Councilor Hedin in DW: Arc of Infinity and was once married to Anneke Wills, was born in Malaya (now Malaysia).
- 1963 - The first episode of DW: An Unearthly Child was first broadcast and Doctor Who was born.
- 1968 - Episode 4 of DW: The Invasion was first broadcast.
- 1988 - Part One of DW: Silver Nemesis was first broadcast.
