Leeds

Leeds was a city in England.

Geography

Leeds was located in northern England. (PROSE: Fear Itself) It was the location of Leeds University which was once attended by Polly Wright. (PROSE: Invasion of the Cat-People)

History

From 1965, Clement McDonald spent forty years in the city, in and out of medical care. (TV: Children of Earth: Day One)

The Second Doctor once encountered a Golem in an alley in Leeds. (PROSE: Golem)

England won the Third Test of the 1981 Ashes series in Leeds against Australia. (PROSE: Graham Dilley Saves the World)

Combat 3000 was a franchised laser tag game which had an outlet in Leeds in the 2000s. (TV: Warriors of Kudlak)

In a hospital in Leeds in 2011, the Eleventh Doctor drew a Harmonelid out of a boy's ear. (COMIC: Earworm)

In the 2010s, the Eleventh Doctor visited Leeds again, this time with Decky Flamboon. They found the streets of Leeds covered in snot and a giant snot monster on the loose. The Doctor shrank the monster to its original size and inserted it back up the nose of a schoolboy. (COMIC: The Runaway Bogey)

Alternative timelines

Inferno

A version of Leeds existed in a parallel version of Earth in which England was a fascist republic. After the disastrous failure of the Inferno Project, seismic disturbances were reported as far north as this version of Leeds. (TV: Inferno)

Graham Dilley Saves the World

In a subsequently erased timeline, Graham Dilley - an English cricketer - failed to catch a ball in the Third Test of the Ashes after being distracted by Tegan Jovanka, causing England to lose. This sparked civil unrest and an assassination attempt on the Queen. Events were later reverted by the Fifth Doctor, Peri Brown and Erimem. (PROSE: Graham Dilley Saves the World)

Donna's World

In an alternate timeline, Donna Noble and her family were relocated to the city following London's destruction by the Titanic. Donna was extremely indignant at being forced to live there. After the activation of the ATMOS devices by the Sontarans, Donna and Rose Tyler watched from a local park as the sky cleared of gas. (TV: Turn Left)

Though it's possible that a real world location doesn't exist in the same geographic space in the Doctor Who universe, such cases are few and far between. Thus, the map to the right is probably a good indicator of the DWU location of Leeds.
