Helicon Prime was the sixth release in the Companion Chronicles audio range. It was the second story of season 2. It was written by Jake Elliot and featured Jamie McCrimmon.

- This is the only Big Finish audio drama set during Season 6B.
Continuity
- For Jamie recounting the story, Helicon Prime occurs after he was returned to his native era by the Time Lords in TV: The War Games.
- When Jamie is annoyed at the Doctor not leaving Helicon prme, he says that shouldn't they be battling Daleks and chasing Yeti. (TV: The Evil of the Daleks, The Abominable Snowmen, The Web of Fear)
