The toy company Character currently owns the rights to produce action figures for the "new" (Series One and onwards) series of Doctor Who.

  • Rose Tyler and two Robot Spiders

Featuring Rose Tyler wearing red top and includes pair of robot spiders. In The End of the World (2005) Rose is snatched by small spider-like robots controlled by Cassandra. The Rose figure itself is the same as the earlier Wave 1 and 2 Rose & K9 figure but re branded now as 'Series 1' Rose Tyler

  • Dalek with Mutant Reveal

A 5" Dalek figure in gold with removable panel revealing purple coloured mutant within. The Dalek interior houses the mutant remnants of the Kaled, an alien race from the planet Skaro. This Dalek figure can rotate its head 360 degrees, has a swiveling plunger and gun arm, and can raise and lower its eye stalk. Later releases have the blue eyepiece detail

  • Auton Double Pack

Autons, encountered by the Ninth Doctor in Rose, are plastic automatons animated by the Nestene Consciousness, a form of alien intelligence; the double pack features two black-suited Autons. In Rose the Autons take on the form of shop dummies. These Auton shop dummy figures feature removable gun-revealing fingers. Also found in a grey suited version as a single carded figure Grey Auton Series 1 (2007)

  • Slitheen & Space Pig

The Slitheen is re-released in 2007 to include a Space Pig figure. As seen in the Series One episode Aliens of London, the Space Pig was in fact a real pig in a spacesuit with its brain enhanced by alien technology

  • Captain Jack & Empty Child

From the Ninth Doctor episode The Empty Child (2005) set during the Blitz in London 1941, this pair includes Captain Jack with blaster gun and Empty Child with gas mask - "Are you my Mummy?"

  • Assault Dalek

Bronze colored 5" scale Assault Dalek action figure from Series 1. The Assault Dalek features a removable claw arm

  • The Gelth Zombie

As seen in The Unquiet Dead (2005) the Gelth are gaseous alien entities that colonize fresh corpses. The Gelth plan to destroy all human life on planet earth thereby creating a plentiful supply of corpses for colonization by ever more Gelth Zombies

  • Doctor Constantine

The hospital doctor meets the Ninth Doctor in wartime London in The Empty Child (2005). Doctor Constantine is a medical doctor at the Albion Hospital, overrun with plague victims. Doctor Constantine himself succumbs to the mysterious plague of the living dead as his wartime gas mask apparently fuses to his head. The Dr Constantine figure comes with a gas mask head accessory. The figure also comes with the cane that Constantine uses to tap against a table leg to awaken the hospital corpses

  • Grey Auton

Auton in Grey suit action figure from Series 1. The 2006 Auton twin pack Series 1 contains two black suited Autons. Grey Auton can also be found in the Series One 6 Figure Gift Pack (2007)

  • Sycorax Leader

Sycorax Leader re released and packaged as 'Series 1'. Includes staff and whip accessory

The 9th Doctor First release to date of the Ninth Doctor (burgundy shirt) as a single carded figure, now branded as Series 1. Previously only found in the Dalek Battle Pack and Woolworth's 6 Figure Pack (2006) but with a fixed as opposed to a poseable stance. This figure has improved articulation with poseable legs

The Moxx of Balhoon Moxx of Balhoon 2007 re-release. Features pull back and go motion and two robot spiders. Note the packaging change to Series 1. The Moxx of Balhoon was originally released as part of Wave 1 (2006)

  • Dirty Dalek

A battle worn bronze-liveried Dalek from Dalek (2005). The Ninth Doctor and Rose encounter the Daleks in a strange underground museum in Utah in 2012

  • Genetic Print Dalek

New Series 1 Genetic Print Dalek With Colour Change Handprint as seen in the episode Dalek (2005). The red handprint on the top of this Dalek's casing is heat sensitive; the colour fades when a heat source, such as a hand, is placed over it. The base of the Genetic Print Dalek is a distinctive charcoal grey colour when compared to the other Dalek figures. When Rose Tyler puts her hand on an enchained Dalek she leaves more than her handprint; her genetic imprint is quickly absorbed, helping the Dalek to renew a section of its Dalekanium casing

The 10th Doctor in black leather jacket and trousers, previously found in a twin pack with the Ninth Doctor in The Doctor Regeneration Set

  • The Editor

The villain played by Simon Pegg from The Long Game (2005). The Editor is, in the distant future, the controller of the Satellite 5 news space station orbiting the planet Earth

  • Slitheen

Series 1 Slitheen re-release; this sculpt is the same as the earlier version, though the eyes are painted in a matt rather than glossy finish

  • Sycorax Leader

Figure on its own without Whip and Staff. Prior release of Sycorax Leader included the Whip and Staff accessories

  • Gelth Zombie

Featuring Glow-in-the-Dark Head and Hands, otherwise identical to earlier Series 1 release

  • The Ninth Doctor

With Auton Arm and 'Auton' Mickey Head accessories plus Anti Plastic Bomb. This Ninth Doctor, bar the accessories, is identical to the earlier Series 1 'The 9th Doctor' figure. The Mickey Smith Head accessory is a different sculpt and paint finish to that found on the earlier Series 2 Mickey figure. June 2008 release features revised packaging.

  • Captain Jack Harkness

With Cap Accessory. Includes seperate WWII badged RAF Cap accessory; this Jack figure is otherwise identical to earlier releases


  • Captain Jack Harkness with Revolver

Captain Jack Harkness Series 1 version 2. Revised and more accurate sculpt. Version 2 Captain Jack was digitally sculpted using Freeform. This long coat version comes with a revolver accessory. The second Jack Harkness will be in shirt and braces and also comes with a revolver accessory

  • Slitheen with Skin Suit
