The Master of Nest Cottage, (AUDIO: The Stuff of Nightmares, et al.) or alternately Baker's End, (AUDIO: The King of Cats, PROSE: Mrs Frimbly's Festive Diary) was a traveller of the omniverse whose identity was subject to conflicting accounts, either being the Time Lord known as the Fourth Doctor (AUDIO: The Stuff of Nightmares, et al.) or 1970s televsion actor Tom Baker, (AUDIO: The King of Cats, PROSE: Mrs Frimbly's Festive Diary) Despite the contentionous accounts of the Master's identity, these individuals were unambigously the same.

After Hexford was returned to its rightful place on Earth, (AUDIo: Survivors in Space) the Master leaft for two years, leaving Mrs Frimbly to look after Baker's End. On Christmas of the second year, he sent a "robot dog" to look after her, though Frimlby initally acted with hostility towards the dog. On Christmas, the Master returned, much to the robot dog's and Mrs Frimbly's delight. (PROSE: Mrs Frimbly's Festive Diary)
At some point in his life, Baker settled down in Baker's End, a cottage in Happenstance Village. During his time there, he had books delivered Ebay (the dimension, not the website). Baker also trapped a Sinisterest Sponge in his space machine, then had left and forgotten about it in the downstairs bathroom, and it tried to eat his housekeeper Fenella Frimbly. Other adventures included meeting the Eye-Spiders of Perigross, finding a Sphinx in an alien desert, a trip to the Neuronic Nightmare world, meeting the blue baboons who rode on ships that resembled spoons, and being at the edge of the universe, next to the Thousand and One Doors to Elsewhere.
