A Chuldur family came to Earth and began infiltrating the society of Regency era England, hoping to roleplay within the society, having been inspired by the television series Bridgerton. They infiltrated a ball thrown by the Duchess of Pemberton, taking the forms of various guests and staff, ultimately including the Duchess herself. The Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday coincidentally attended the ball and encountered the Chuldur scheme, along with the bounty hunter "Rogue", who had been paid to capture a Chuldur. The Doctor and Rogue were able to banish the shapeshifters to another dimension, but at the cost of Rogue sacrificing himself, leading to his banishment alongside the Chuldur.
