Cyber was slang for cybernetic lifeforms such as CCPCs, refered to as such by Harry Pike, and the Cybermen, refered to once by the Tenth Doctor. (TV: Rise of the Cybermen)

As a prefix

The Cybermen were organised into the Cyber-Force, (TV: Silver Nemesis) also known as the Cyber-Empire. (COMIC: The Bidding War) The Cyberiad was the shared consciousnesses of the Cybermen. (TV: Nightmare in Silver)

CyberMondan was the term used by the Cybermen to refer to the Mondasians who did not fully embrace cyber-conversion like the Faction did. As such, they were the earliest form of Cybermen. (PROSE: Iceberg)

Cybermen were typically led by Cyber-Leaders, (TV: Earthshock et al.) who were themselves subordinate to by Cyber-Controllers and Cyber-Planners. (TV: Attack of the Cybermen, GAME: The Eternity Clock) CyberKings were a Dreadnought-class ships whose pilot was integrated into it, making it the CyberKing. (TV: The Next Doctor)

Cyber-conversion was the process in which other lifeforms were transformed into Cybermen. (AUDIO: Real Time) Mondasian Cybermen used Cyberfication machines, (COMIC: The Ugly Underneath) while those from Pete's World were known to use Cyber-conversion units. Humans infected by Cybermat nanoforms became Cyberslaves. (GAME: Blood of the Cybermen) Other partially converted humans were known as Cyberdrones. (COMIC: Enemy Mine)

Cybershades were converted from cats and dogs. (WC: Monster File: Cybermen, TV: The Next Doctor) Dogs were also converted into cyberdogs (COMIC: Enemy Mine) and Cyber Wolves. (PROSE: Plague of the Cybermen) Cybermice were converted from mice. (COMIC: Untitled)

The body of a Cyberman was known as a Cyber-suit. (AUDIO: Real Time, TV: The Age of Steel) The Sixth Doctor refered to the heads of these suits as the Cyber-helmet. (AUDIO: The Carrionite Curse) The Eleventh Doctor dubbed the severed arm of a Cyberman as a "Cyber-arm". (TV: The Pandorica Opens)

Cybermen travelled in Cyber-ships (TV: The Pandorica Opens) or Cyber-Warships (TV: Silver Nemesis) which were organised into Cyber Legions (TV: A Good Man Goes to War) or Cyber-Fleets, (TV: Silver Nemesis) led by Cyber-Flagships. (COMIC: The Bidding War) Cyber-Warships carried Cyber-shuttles. (TV: Silver Nemesis)

Cybermen believed their technology, Cyber-Technology, to be supreme. (AUDIO: Code Silver) Cybermen made use of Cyber-bombs. (PROSE: The Empire of Glass)
