William Godwin

William Godwin was an English writer who wrote the book Caleb Williams. He was the father of Mary Shelley. (PROSE: The Book of the War) When the Thirteenth Doctor and her companions visited Villa Diodati in June 1816, Mary confessed to Ryan Sinclair that she preferred writing to playing the piano, but believed that she could never match the achievements of her parents.
