Titan (mythology)

The Titans were a generation of deities in Greek mythology. They were overthrown by their children, the more familiar Olympian gods, led by Zeus. (PROSE: Fallen Gods) In reality, the Titans were extradimensional entities, known as "chronophages" or "temporovores", who fed on temporal energy. (PROSE: The End Times)

The Titans and the Olympians were balanced in a state of opposition. Both factions were equally capable of good and evil, but whenever either group did something petty, cruel, or devastating in some particular area, the other was forced into taking the opposite stance. (PROSE: The Mary-Sue Extrusion)

Rhea (PROSE: The End Times), Cronus, Oceanus, Hyperion, Iapetus, Astraeus, Phoebe, and Crius were Titans. (PROSE: Fallen Gods) By one account, so was Cyclops. (PROSE: The Myth Makers)
