Top Trumps Card Game & Dalek Collectors Tin was the second special set of Top Trumps cards released by Winning Moves in November 2012.

It contained a total of 60 game cards split between 2 packs (Allies and Enemies), kept in a metal spherical tin printed as a Dalek. When the lid of the tin was removed a sound chip played a Dalek chanting "Exterminate" on loop until the lid was put back. It covered both the "Classic Series" and the "New Series", and was one of the first pieces of merchandise released to celebrate the programmes' 50th anniversary.

The cards in each pack had five attributes, Allies had: courage, brains, combat, debut & adventures, and Enemies had: fighting skills, scariness, global threat, army size & adventures. Both packs covered characters from TV: An Unearthly Child-The Wedding of River Song.

Exclusive cards[[edit] | [edit source]]

To promote this set the Amy card from the Allies pack was also included in stickered editions of other Doctor Who products produced by Winning Moves.

In the US an exclusive "Supercard" of The Fifth Doctor, autographed by Peter Davison, was included with every purchase of Who North America's promo pack for Gen Con Indy 2013, held in Indianapolis from 15–18 August. This was identical to The Fifth Doctor card in the Allies pack except for a different picture and a white space for the autograph.[3]

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • This was the first set to include a card for the Ninth Doctor.
  • This set was announced in February 2012, and initially scheduled for release on 1 July.[4]
