On 22 December 2023, the woman attended a performance of Ruby Sunday's band at a pub. After a goblin pulled the plug on Ruby's musical keyboard, the woman enthusiastically told the band to "give it some welly", before asking Trudy to perform "Gaudete", (TV: The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (novelisation)"]) a song once performed by Steeleye Span, but Trudy told her that the band didn't take requests, (PROSE: The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (novelisation)"]) and she was unfamiliar with the song either way. Behind the scenes
Susan Twist played Mrs Merridew in Wild Blue Yonder [+]Loading...["Wild Blue Yonder (TV story)"] less than a month prior to The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (TV story)"]. The script for The Church on Ruby Road, released online in February 2024, implied the two characters are intended to be one and the same.[1] However, until such connection is established in-universe, the characters remains seperate on this wiki.
