Family Matters was the first story in the audio anthology Heritage 3, produced by Big Finish Productions. It was written by Lisa McMullin and featured Neve McIntosh as Madame Vastra, Catrin Stewart as Jenny Flint and Dan Starkey as Strax.

Jenny's past comes calling at Paternoster Row, as Strax takes care of a guest, and the travelling circus comes to town - spelling danger for some of the gang.

But when family matters intrude on their marriage, the last thing Jenny wants is Vastra having her in-laws for dinner...

  • Jenny remarks to Vastra that they haven't been to the theatre since "that unfortunate incident with Ellen Terry." An adventure involving the Paternoster Gang and Terry was previously seen in GAME: A Study in Flax [+]Loading...["A Study in Flax (game)"].
