Christmas on Skaro?[1] was a series of short, holiday-themed, promotional videos created for broadcast on BBC One during the Christmas season of 2010.

The idents consisted of one thirty-second main video, and a ten-second video. They featured a crossover between Doctor Who and the BBC comedy mockumentary show Come Fly With Me, which premiered following A Christmas Carol [+]Loading...["A Christmas Carol (TV story)"] on 25 December, with Matt Lucas and David Walliams starring as check-in assistants Keeley St Clair and Melody Baines.

Christmas on Skaro?[[edit] | [edit source]]

At the FlyLo airport, a customer is booking a flight. When asked by Keeley if he is carrying any metal object or firearms, the customer, a Dalek, answers in the negative. The Dalek identifies his destination as Skaro, which Melody believes is near Mykonos. Melody hands the Dalek his boarding pass. The Dalek takes the pass with his suction cup before moving on.

The Dalek, carrying three bags with his manipulator arm, is moving through the airport, his eyestalk turning to a pair of air stewardesses as they walk by.

  • Melody says that there is a country near Mykonos also called Skaro.
  • Fearghal has a badge of Santa Claus pinned to his waistcoat.
  • FlyLo is a low-cost airline run by Omar Baba.
