The Diary of River Song: Series Five
The Diary of River Song: Series Five was a full cast audio anthology released in 22 January 2019 by Big Finish Productions. It was the fifth release of The Diary of River Song. It featured Alex Kingston as River Song, Michelle Gomez as Missy, Geoffrey Beevers and Eric Roberts as The Master and Derek Jacobi as The War Master and introduced Timothy Blore as Luke Sullieman.

- The anthology was marketed as the first appearance of Eric Roberts as the Bruce Master since the television movie in 1996, after a 22 year hiatus.
- The anthology features the first appearance of a character introduced in the Twelfth Doctor era, Missy, after Big Finish's license was extended to include it.
- This is the first series of The Diary of River Song to not feature the Doctor, instead featuring four incarnations of their arch-enemy the Master.
- This is also the first series of The Diary of River Song to not feature a story written by Matt Fitton.
