- This story originally appeared in Short Trips: Indefinable Magic, published in March 2009. Only two months later, the story was reprinted in Short Trips: Re:Collections, an omnibus published as a finale to the Short Trips book line. As a result, The Fall of the Druids holds the record for shortest interval between original book publication and reprinting in another book for a Doctor Who short story.
