- Charles Stewart used Dermagraft to make his face appear identical to Crayford's.

- Reb Shavron's last name isn't used in this story, but she is identified as female and as Joel Shaw's second-in-command. The most logical conclusion, given the unusual first name, is that the author is referring to the character that was prominent in the 1976 annual.
- This story was read by Nicholas Briggs in Dalek Attack: Blockade & Other Stories, released in 2019.
