Catcliffe
Catcliffe was a village and parish located east of Sheffield. Approximately north of Catcliffe, and on the opposite side of the motorway, was Brinsworth; south-east of Catcliffe was Orgreave and to the south-west was Handsworth.
There was a superstore located to the approximate south-east of Catcliffe, as well as Waverley Business Park. Catcliffe Flash Nature Reserve was located to the approximate south-west
Catcliffe appeared on Jade McIntyre's map of spider activity within the Sheffield area. (TV: Arachnids in the UK)
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
Using just the map shown in Arachnids in the UK, one could be forgiven for thinking that Catcliffe was part of Sheffield. However, in the real world, which this wiki does not consider a valid source, Catcliffe is part of the Borough of Rotherham.
Catcliffe appears twice on the map, the larger lettering of which indicates the wider parish. The name of the parish is positioned over the village of Waverley, perhaps causing confusion as Waverley is unnamed on the map.
