Church of the Evergreen Man

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

The Church of the Evergreen Man, or simply the Evergreen, believed the Doctor was their Messiah, referring to him as "the Prophet, blessed be his divine countenance". (COMIC: The Bidding War) They were based on the planet Piedosos. (PROSE: Dalek: The Astounding Untold History of the Greatest Enemies of the Universe)

Father Heretika was their representative who attended Addison Delamar's auction of the Ninth Doctor's memories and informed Delamar that the Supreme Synod demanded proof he was the prophet. When a fight broke out between the Evergreen, Harrigain, Shreekers, and Cybermen, the Doctor overwhelmed them with his memories of the Last Great Time War. The Church of the Evergreen Man retreated to the Celestial Sanctum, leaving their prophet with his memories for they were "too terrible to bear". They wore suits of Vogan gold. (COMIC: The Bidding War)

"Evergreen Man" was a name given to the Eighth Doctor by the Sidhe. (PROSE: Autumn Mist)

The Church maintained an Oakdown Gallery where the only known portrait of the Doctor's old friend and ofttimes enemy the Master, Portrait of Evil by Skarnn, was kept. (PROSE: Dalek: The Astounding Untold History of the Greatest Enemies of the Universe)
