An incarnation of the Doctor was one of the possibilities for the titular role in Doctor Who: The Movie, the Eighth Doctor, along with several other candidates, with a bewildered Seventh Doctor watching the assembly of his possible regenerations from a distance. This particular Doctor appeared to have formed a band with two other incarnations. He proclaimed "Never mind other planets, let's save the one we've got!". (COMIC: Doctor Who? 138)
