Timelord was, within a nightmare Dez Skinn had in 1979, a fictional character created by Stan Lee to star in a Marvel UK comic book of the same name. A muscular superhero vaguely resembling the Fourth Doctor, the character was a human being who worked as a doctor by day, but, at night, would become the avenging superhero Timelord thanks to the powers availed to him by his sonic sceptre.

Timelord was actually born of Lee's misunderstanding of what Skinn tried to tell him about the Doctor, which had also had Lee briefly considering making the character into an alien shapeshifter due to the confused way Skinn described regeneration to him.
