Señor 105
Señor 105, sometimes spelt Seņor 105, was a famous Mexican luchador with a mask for every element in the periodic table, adding another number to his name whenever a new one was discovered. He was a friend of Iris Wildthyme and a fan of Brenda Soobie, unaware that they were the same person.

Señor 105 was born circa the 1910s. (PROSE: Iris Wildthyme y Señor Cientocinco contra Los Monstruos del Fiesta [+]Loading...["Iris Wildthyme y Señor Cientocinco contra Los Monstruos del Fiesta (short story)"])
In his youth, he was taken in by the three most skilled wrestlers of Mexico: Tierra, Viento and Fuego. They trained him to be one of their own, but he decided that their ways were too mystical for him and chose to become independent with a scientific motif. Naming himself after the number of elements in the periodic table, he became "Señor 93".[nb 1] The first wrestling mask he created for himself was Number 93, Neptunium.
In the late 1940s, Señor 97 visited New York City and had an adventure which involved the construction of the United Nations headquarters. Diana Gulbronson remained in debt to the Señor for saving her life. (PROSE: Elementary, My Dear Sheila [+]Loading...["Elementary, My Dear Sheila (short story)"])
The 1960s[[edit] | [edit source]]
While he often left Mexico to have adventures across the globe (sometimes even traversing the Very Fabric of Time and Space using his home-made Zodiac Machine), Señor 105 always returned to his house in mid-20th century Mexico City. By summer 1968, Señor 105 had met several Mexican presidents, visited the Eiffel Tower, went on a boat ride with Albert Einstein, and encountered UFOs, witches, werewolves, purple midgets, and "El Hombre Invisible".
On the day of the opening ceremony of the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, Señor 105 met Iris Wildthyme and Panda while trying to stop an army of spirits possessing piñatas from disrupting the Olympics. While 105 wrestled Axixmiqui, the leader of the spirits, Iris manipulated the mathematical ratios involved in the dimensional doorway the spirits were creating. When the doorway was activated, the spirits were all sucked up into a mini-singularity. Afterwards, Señor 105 helped Iris repair her Celestial Omnibus and gave her a 1968 Olympics bracelet and the mask he made for titanium as parting gifts; using knowledge gaining from observing the workings of the omnibus, 105 was able to complete the Zodiac Machine. Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
Following his first appearances in the Iris Wildthyme series, Señor 105 continued his adventures with Sheila in a 2011 Obverse Quarterly anthology Señor 105 & the Elements of Danger and, subsequently, a series of 9 novellas called The Periodic Adventures of Señor 105. These releases had several connections to Doctor Who and its various spin-offs.
- In the first novella, The Gulf by Cody Quijano-Schell, the Chicxulub Crater was shown to be full of advanced technology, left behind by the mysterious object that killed the dinosaurs. Several references are made to "silver-antlered" men from Earth's twin planet "El Mundo".
- The third novella, By the Time I Get to Venus by Blair Bidmead, features El Jefe, Theo Possible, Litany Chromehurst, and the version of the Venusians seen in the novel Venusian Lullaby. The text of this novella was later reprinted in as part of The Rise and Fall of Señor 105, part of Obverse Sextet.
- The fourth novella, Señor 105 and the Secret Santa by Stuart Douglas, references both Iris Wildthyme and Hyspero.
- The short story Señor 105 contra el Bigote de Perdición, written by Lawrence Burton, was referenced in the form of a vision in the same author's Faction Paradox novel Against Nature.
- The short story Deleted Scene from 'Iris Wildthyme and the Key Lime Pie 2 Time' - 'Part 3: The Stones of Blood', written by Cody Schell, featured licensed appearances from Iris Wildthyme and Panda themselves, along with their Celestial Omnibus.
Señor 105 also appears in Lawrence Burton's short story The Time Wrestlers, published in Obverse Books' charity anthology A Target for Tommy. In the story, he teams up with the Sixth Doctor and Peri Brown after reality is altered by agents of the Great Houses from the future War. The agents refer to the Doctor's infection the Faction Paradox biodata virus in Interference - Book Two.
