Talk:The Master's Dalek Plan

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Rename to "Thirteenth Doctor's forced regeneration"[[edit source]]

"The Master's Dalek Plan" is, as stated on the article, was but one of the titles the Master gave to his scheme, but the Daleks ultimately play an inconsequently part of the overall plan; in fact, the Cybermen arguably play a larger role in the plot. Hence, "The Master's Dalek Plan" is a rather poor choice for a page name. On the other hand, "Thirteenth Doctor's forced regeneration" focuses more on what the objective of the plan was; To force the Doctor to regenerate so the Master could hijack her body and become the Doctor while his allies run rampid on Earth. See Talk:Thirteenth Doctor's forced regeneration. This is a deeply contentious issue. Najawin 05:46, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
I think there's a use for both pages. The Master's Dalek Plan can discuss the larger plan including its Dalek and Cyberman components, the stuff at Unit HQ, etc, whereas The Master-Doctor (please see my latest comment at Talk:Thirteenth Doctor's forced regeneration) would address just that one specific part of the plan. A {{main}} link at The Master's Dalek Plan#Forced regeneration would connect the two pages. – n8 () 19:27, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
will I have to be the guy who suggests "The Day I Killed the Doctor With a Little Help From my Friends" as the title, or simply "The Day I Killed the Doctor" per Whotopia: The Ultimate Guide to the Whoniverse (reference book), as the plan's formal name Editoronthewiki 20:05, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
[[The Day [the Master] killed the Doctor]]. Edit: Ah, well, that appears to break the link. Aquanafrahudy 📢 🖊️ 20:11, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
