A taxi driver drove a tramp to Covent Garden in July 1966.

The driver wanted the tramp to pay the fare, but his passenger only had a pound note which the driver couldn't change. Polly Wright offered change for the pound note so the tramp could pay the fare.
After the tramp departed, the driver took the First Doctor and Polly to their destinations. (TV: The War Machines)
