New TARDIS Data Core page: Spaceman (Death to the Daleks)

Hi Shambala108,

Just thought I'd drop you a line to let you know that I've created a new page for TARDIS Data Core: Jack (Death to the Daleks).

I have to confess, I wasn't sure what to call the page at first, but eventually decided on the aforementioned title to differentiate between any other 'Spaceman' characters who may appear in Doctor Who in the future, and also to allow for a 'Spaceman' disambiguation page to be created at some later date. I hope this is all right.

I'd be grateful if you and the other caretakers could take a look when you get a spare moment and make any changes you consider necessary.

Title sequence videos

User pages

Technically, T:USER OTHER would apply, even to User:Tehtumpi/History of the Daleks. I wouldn't say the edits appear to be vandalistic, so I'm not sure I'd block the IPs for editing it. But the user has effectively posted a "no trespassing" sign, so we could protect the page from anon edits, at least. In fact, I'll go ahead and do that.

Image requests

Sorry if posting in the wrong section, I haven't edited here that much. I know ;). But could we have a higher-resolution image of the Valiant (one preferably somewhere upwards from 1000x500). Thanks! On the note of its anti-missile and anti-nuke technology, maybe it was in an old comic or whatever else. Just so you know, my friend told me that when I asked him if the humans should launch a missile at the ship to kill the Master and said due to its defences it wouldn't work. To (try) and get this information seen on the article, I asked him for the source, but he couldn't remember where he got the information from. Yes, definitely I think that counts. Although looking through it doesn't actually state who plays Monoid Four, though the other three are listed. So by elimination we can work out who played Four. Decide Your Destiny

I'm sorry about messing up your edits. I was in a bit of a rush and didn't really consider the consequences of my actions. However, I removed the "Non-DWU" categories to prevent recursion. The Find Your Fate category is already contained in the Non-DWU stories category. Adding that category to those pages confuses bots and makes them bounce back and forth between categories unnecessarily. At least that's my understanding of what happens.CzechOut can explain it to you better than I can. Therefore, I'm going to remove those redundant categories once again. Charity stuff

I don't personally care whether charity stuff gets saved or not. It just shouldn't be here. That said, it would be relatively easy to port the charity stuff onto it's own wiki through the use of Special:Import/Export. Wouldn't take more than a few hours to set it up.

Oops, sorry. I basically thought that as they were students at the school that it could be considered that they were involved in the battle against the Family of Blood, because, as in the case of Tim Latimer, desertion was against the rules. If there's no other way of saying that without using a speculative tone, then perhaps your way is best - not say it at all.

Hello again Shambala. I don't know if I just did something wrong or not. Someone earlier made a change on the Tenth Doctor article that I reverted because I didn't want to see them get blocked. You had said the edit I made before you blocked it recently would stand and that a reason for changing it would have to be given on the talk page, which the editor didn't do. I took that literally and reverted without thinking. If that was wrong, I apologize and will do nothing to start another revert war. Sorry to bother you if this was trivial, but what page should I read in regards to that to keep from making the same mistakes again? Just the ones you recommended? Fair enough. I was just aiming to keep it consistent, and the wording without 'the' seemed to be the most prominent one at the time. Undoing on St Paul's Cathedral

Hi there,

I don't quite understand you're undoing of my paragraph. Regarding sources, my source was from the episode. You clearly see it on the episode. Unless I'm very much mistaken, the only source to which you can make reference is the official source itself. I used no reference from the outside world, which regarded the article that you linked me to.

My point: I put in information that any viewer can plainly see on the episode. It is made quite clear that it is St Paul's, regardless of whether it is mentioned or not, and thus it should be included. Not including it is surely like saying "I saw something in the background of the Black Archive but because it wasn't mentioned, I shan't include it."

Wikia help?

This is not Doctor Who related, but I wondered if you could help me a bit about Wikias, maybe you know about this. I'm using iPhone, and I somehow accidentally zoomed in on the Wikia, and I can't zoom out. I have to touch the screen to move around Wikias in order to see the rest of the Wikia. The two words inserted were juvenile and dumb. The offender was punished. Many apologies that you had to waste your time removing them. It will not happen again.

All I can say is that 8 year old boys think the word 'poop' is highly entertaining. And they like messing with their older brother's iPad.
