The Eternal Mystery was a Doctor Who mini-episode written by Pete McTighe, and released in 2022. A trailer for the Season 22 Doctor Who Blu-ray and interview clips with various actors who had appeared in Season 22 appeared as a kind of ad break. A sequel to both Mindwarp and The Widow's Assassin, the webcast featured the return of Nicola Bryant to the part of Peri Brown on screen.

Summary

On Krontep, a guard Rex questions a hooded figure praying in front of a statue of Yrcanos, who reveals herself as the Warrior Queen, Peri Brown. She tells him why she disappeared and that she visits the temple once a year with the Sixth Doctor. Learning that Rex wants to explore the universe, she invites him on board the TARDIS.
