25 Huge Inflatable Daleks! was a competition printed in TV Century 21 focusing heavily, as the name suggests, around the Daleks.

The competition was started in TV21 23 where the rules and prizes were outlined. All readers had to do was to pick a name for the Red Dalek (as seen on the front cover in the short story Daleks Seek New Conquests) and explain why their choice of name was best. There were six names to choose from: Deralked, Skareg, Zogger, Crimak, Daleg and Graned. It was stated that the twenty-five competitors who picked "the right name" and who had "the most original completion of sentence" would be declared the winners. The closing date was 7 July 1965.

The prize for each of the twenty-five winners was a three-foot high inflatable Dalek made by Scorpion Universal Toys, a product which TV21 noted was on sale in most large stores and toy shops for twenty-one shillings. Two hundred runners-up were rewarded with a Dalek jigsaw each, a product stated to be available only at F. W. Woolworth Stores.

The names of the winners and runners-up were printed in TV21 30, but the correct name of the Red Dalek, who later became a recurring character in The Daleks comic strip, was never revealed.
