The Doctor Chronicles was an audio series from Big Finish Productions. Each anthology concentrated on one of the Doctor's incarnations. For the first four anthologies, each story featured a narrator instead of the original actor and was supported by one additional actor, similarly to the Companion Chronicles. Beginning with The Eleventh Doctor Chronicles: Volume Two, the series pivoted to full-cast audio dramas featuring the Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors.

The first anthology of the series, The Ninth Doctor Chronicles, featured Nicholas Briggs providing the narration for the Ninth Doctor.

The following anthologies, The Tenth Doctor Chronicles, The Eleventh Doctor Chronicles, and The Twelfth Doctor Chronicles featured Jacob Dudman providing the narration for the Tenth Doctor, Eleventh Doctor, and Twelfth Doctor, respectively.
