A Study in Flax was a scenario for Adventures in Time and Space: The Roleplaying Game published in Paternoster Investigations, using various elements introduced in other parts of the book.

In this adventure a time traveller from Earth’s future, Professor Fiora Breen, finds herself stranded in the past, the ordeal rendering her genetic code unstable. Horrified and realising that she will never survive a trip back to the future, Breen is attempting to fix the problem before risking a trip back home. Unfortunately, this requires her to steal life energy from her victims.
Napoleon is a partner in crime in this venture, as he sees an opportunity to create a new Time Corridor.
