On 14 October, Coal Hill Academy held its Autumn Prom. During the prom, the Shadow Kin came to Coal Hill. Ram Singh's girlfriend Rachel Chapman was killed and everyone attending the prom was terrified. Miss Quill called the Twelfth Doctor and asked for help. When Charlie and Quill were cornered in the Coal Hill school hall, the Doctor arrived and, with the help of Tanya Adeola, weakened the Shadow Kin with the school's lights. The Shadow Kin were pushed back through the space-time rip and the Doctor brought together Quill, Charlie, April, Ram, Tanya, and Matteusz near the Coal Hill School Roll of Honours Board and tasked them with the role of protecting Coal Hill from further alien attacks. (TV: For Tonight We Might Die) The rest of the students quickly forgot about the Shadow Kin.

On 27 October, a second leaf dragon came to Coal Hill and killed the headteacher Frank Armitage. That night, Ram realised that the dragons he and his friends had seen resembled the dragon tattoo on Coach Dawson, and the team confronted Dawson shortly afterwards. They learned that one dragon had been fused to Dawson and the second dragon was her mate. The second dragon joined this confrontation and, after some encouragement from Ram, grabbed Dawson and took him through the space-time rip to wherever the dragons originated from. ==== November ====
On 3 November, the Lankin came through the space-time rift in Coal Hill to feed on the grief of the inhabitants of Shoreditch. The tips of its appendages morphed into deceased loved ones and tricked many into touching the Lankin and being fed off of. The Lankin brought its great trunk to Tanya's window to feed off a large amount of grief in Tanya caused by the death of her father, but Tanya saw through the attempt to mimic her father and instead of feeding the Lankin her grief, she fed it anger. This weakened the Lankin enough that when Miss Quill drove a bus into its main branch it retreated back through the rift. (TV: Nightvisiting)
| |||
In mid-November, a single petal-like creature drifted through the rift; it quickly began feeding off of small animals and multiplying. This was noticed by Dorothea Ames, who had taken over as headteacher of Coal Hill on behalf of the Governors, and she reached out to Quill for assistance in dealing with the matter. Also on this day, the bond between April and Corakinus was strengthened by an anchor of a lifeblood. Fearing that Corakinus would come to Earth and kill everyone, April went through the rift to the Underneath followed by Ram. (TV: Co-Owner of a Lonely Heart) April bested Corakinus in battle and became king of the Shadow Kin. She returned to Earth and ordered the Shadow Kin to destroy all of the petals. Shortly afterwards, the anchor of lifeblood wore off and April lost her Shadow Kin connection. (TV: Brave-ish Heart)
A few days later, Miss Quill put the Coal Hill defenders in detention while she got her arn removed. While the students were trapped in detention with an alien mass murderer in a prison asteroid, (TV: Detained) Quill travelled with Dorothea Ames and Ballon in a metaphysical engine to gather various materials needed to remove her arn. Once everything was collected, Ballon surgically removed the arn in the Cabinet of Souls. Afterwards, the two had sex and then were informed by Dorothea that to escape the Cabinet, one of them would have to kill the other. Ballon and Quill fought, with Ballon gaining the upper hand. Ballon was tricked into killing himself by the Governors. Quill was then rapidly aged by a Rhodian soul before climbing out of the cabinet. She went back to her classroom and destroyed the asteroid prison which was threatening her students. Info from The Pilot needs to be added.
In early December, six days after Quill's arn was removed, Quill was still in a coma-like state in which she experienced a dream world. In this world, she encountered odd 'metaphysical' variations of people that were familiar to her. After defeating the 'metaphysical' version of Tanya, she awoke and was surprised to discover that she was pregnant. (TV: Queen of Rhodia) On the same day, Corakinus returned to Earth to capture April and eradicate the human race. He started by murdering Varun Singh and Vivian Adeola. When he came to kill Jackie MacLean, Corakinus confronted Charlie, Matteusz, Ram, and April. Meanwhile, Tanya became determined to avenge her mother's death and worked with Quill to make Charlie destroy the Shadow Kin with the Cabinet of Souls. After encountering Tanya and Quill in the school hall, Charlie used the Cabinet of Souls to stop the Shadow Kin from killing everyone on Earth. Although April died, she was resurrected in Corakinus' body. (TV: The Lost)
Also in early December, the Jezrafeq attempted to invade Earth by emitting a signal that coupled with Christmas music to reduce humans to a brain-dead state. Erimem and Andy Hansen were returning home after shopping for presents at Oxford Street when the signal reached Earth and escaped the signal by being on the Tube. After discovering people affected by the signal, they returned to the Habitat and traced the signal back to the Jezrafeq fleet above Earth. By this time, 70% of the population was affected. Erimem and Andy reversed the signal back to the Jezrafeq fleet, leading to them losing the mental capacity to pilot their ships and crashing onto Earth. On 24 December, the Eighth Doctor went into temporal orbit around Earth after his TARDIS was damaged in the Last Great Time War. During this time, he received a Christmas card in the form of a hypercube from his granddaughter Susan. (PROSE: Ghost of Christmas Past)
On 25 December, Erimem brought Olivia Parson to 2016 from the 17th century as a gift to Andy. (PROSE: I Saw Three Ships) Early in the day, Helena wrapped presents and reflected that her husband Ibrahim Hadmani would die before the next Christmas, meaning that the day was her last Christmas with him. (PROSE: Last Christmas) Erimem and friends had lunch with David Hartingden. (PROSE: A Bleak Midwinter) That night, Erimem and Andy discussed Christmas carols. The Twelfth Doctor continued to guard the Vault with Nardole during 2016. He met Bill Potts this year, who he would later adopt as his companion. (TV: The Pilot) He went as far as to inform the readers of the January issue of Doctor Who Adventures that the year would be "really special". (PROSE: Dear Readers)
| |||
Professor Nakatomi bought a Kaznak Simu-System off of the black market to create a video game system. He tested it by having it physically create the dreams of two young boys. The boys dreamt about two monsters from an action figure series, causing the Simu-System to create two giant monsters that fought each other in the streets, destroying building and cars. UNIT arrived on the scene but were unsuccessful in dealing with the monsters. The Twelfth Doctor arrived in Japan looking for ramen and encountered UNIT. He used his sonic screwdriver to find the Simu-System, and then made it create his dreams instead of the boys'. Nakatomi was then arrested by UNIT. (COMIC: Big in Japan)
The Transhuman Sisters of the Unholy Protocol came to Hexford searching for Macqueen, who had been trapped without form in his TARDIS since 1984. The Sisters couldn't open the TARDIS, so they tried to find a Time Lord by putting it up for auction. The Fifth Doctor came to the auction and was led into a trap by one of the Sisters. However, the Sisters were destroyed by another group of bounty hunters. After this, the Master briefly left his TARDIS to steal a body before leaving. The Doctor left shortly afterwards to return to his travels and UNIT cleaned up the mess left by the Sisters' crashed spaceship. (AUDIO: And You Will Obey Me)
tried to catch the attention of the Doctor by bringing Earth's smartest scientists to the Dominus Institute and draining them of intelligence. When the Sixth Doctor investigated the institute with Heather Threadstone, he discovered that the Master had captured a Carmentine mind leech and was planning to use it to steal the Doctor's memories. The procedure did not go as planned and only the Doctor's short-term memory was taken. The Master ran away and the Doctor was left with little memory of the incident. (AUDIO: Vampire of the Mind) An agent of the older Master observed the entire scheme. (AUDIO: The Two Masters)
Under orders from the British government, UNIT constructed K2, a recreation of the original K1 robot. It escaped and went on a rampage in downtown London. The Twelfth Doctor and Petronella Osgood were able to disassemble it, but only after it destroyed the London Eye. (COMIC: Robo Rampage)
The Twelfth Doctor visited the annual UK Book Festival, where he encountered Charles Abbott: an alien who masqueraded as a human to write popular children's books. He also met Eliza Jones, who told him that Abbott had kidnapped her younger brother Sammy. Using one of Abbott's books, the Doctor tracked Sammy to Abbott's home planet. The Doctor and Eliza saved Sammy and trapped Abbott in a stasis jail cell. (COMIC: Shock Horror)
Also around this time, (COMIC: Vortex Butterflies) the Tenth Doctor dealt with several alien incursions in the New York City area with the help of Gabby Gonzalez and Cindy Wu. ==== Undated adventures of the Coal Hill Defenders ====
Some time after the Coal Hill defenders were formed and Matteusz began living with Charlie, a website called truthordare.com was started up, encouraging Coal Hill students and those in the surrounding area to do stupid stuff in what appeared to be a charity fundraising scheme. However, over the course of the following weeks, practically all of those who took part in the scheme were kidnapped by the Organisation and taken to a facility in a pocket dimension Void where they were tricked into eradicating the Skandis so the Organisation could easily take over the Skandis home planet and blame Earth for the eradication. April and Tanya befriended Seraphin, a vlogger who had been kidnapped by the Organisation to act as the public figure of the scheme, and used him to access the facility's dimensional technology and break it. Without a working facility, the students were able to see the Skandis as the peaceful kind beings they were. The Skandis salvaged the pocket dimension for information on the Organisation, and were lenient enough on the humans to let them return home. The Organisation still made a considerable amount of money through selling footage of the students fighting, but Quill found and killed them after everyone else had left the pocket dimension. By this year, the Eighth Doctor's companion Izzy Sinclair was working for Médecins Sans Frontières. (COMIC: The Stockbridge Showdown)
In 2014, (COMIC: The Fractures) while trying to work out how a forest had grown on Earth overnight, the Twelfth Doctor compared a tree to a time machine, and determined that this had to have happened due to messing with the fabric of time, as "you [couldn't] create a whole overnight forest with extra special fertiliser". He referred to a hypothetical scenario, where "[y]ou plant[ed] a little acorn in 1795, and in the year 2016, there [was] an oak tree, there in the same spot, with a tiny, little bit of 1795 still alive inside of it." October[[edit] | [edit source]]
On 12 October, a Shadow Kin came through the space-time rift in Coal Hill looking for Charlie and Quill. Quill had the student Kevin Williams shoot it with a displacement gun, killing both himself and the Shadow Kin.
On 13 October, April MacLean encountered Charlie and Miss Quill while she was decorating for the autumn prom and learned that they were aliens. Corakinus came through the rip and Quill tried to make April shoot him with the displacement gun. Charlie interfered and April only skimmed Corakinus with the gun. This made her share a heart with Corakinus. Seeing he could not kill April without killing himself, Corakinus left before telling Charlie and Quill he would attack the next day.
On 23 October, UNIT attempted an assault on Saxon Heights to arrest Missy, but she evaded capture. (PROSE: Yes, Missy)
On 24 October, Ram stumbled into the skinned corpse of C. Caroll after Caroll was murdered by a leaf dragon attached to the skin of Tom Dawson.
On 25 October, Ram witnessed the dragon murder P. Volkon. Meanwhile, Miss Quill found herself being spied on by a robot sent by the Governors, disguised as an Ofsted inspector.
November[[edit] | [edit source]]
(TV: The Metaphysical Engine, or What Quill Did)
December[[edit] | [edit source]]
(PROSE: Cliff Richards Saves the World)
In December, Nicole became Nick's girlfriend. (TV: Eve of the Daleks)
Bill Potts gave the Twelfth Doctor a rug as a Christmas present. (TV: The Pilot)

Undated[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Twelfth Doctor continued to guard the Vault with Nardole during 2016. He met Bill Potts this year, who he would later adopt as his companion. (TV: The Pilot) He went as far as to inform the readers of the January issue of Doctor Who Adventures that the year would be "really special". (PROSE: Dear Readers)
The Transhuman Sisters of the Unholy Protocol came to Hexford searching for the Reborn Master, who had been trapped without form in his TARDIS since 1984. (AUDIO: And You Will Obey Me)
The Master tried to catch the attention of the Doctor by bringing Earth's smartest scientists to the Dominus Institute and draining them of intelligence.
(COMIC: Revolutions of Terror et al)
Undated adventures of the Coal Hill Defenders[[edit] | [edit source]]
He referred to a hypothetical scenario, where "[y]ou plant[ed] a little acorn in 1795, and in the year 2016, there [was] an oak tree, there in the same spot, with a tiny, little bit of 1795 still alive inside of it." (TV: In the Forest of the Night)
In this year, teenagers played games like Pokemon Go and rode hoverboards. Donald Trump and Brexit were both considered to be major unstoppable powers in 2016. (PROSE: What She Does Next Will Astound You)
