The school hall was a room in Coal Hill School with a stage. (TV: The Caretaker) Sometimes, performances were held here. (TV: The Metaphysical Engine, or What Quill Did) Following the renovation of Coal Hill, it was located in Room C11 of the Barbara Wright Building. (TV: For Tonight We Might Die)

The Skovox Blitzer confronted the Twelfth Doctor in the school hall in the early 2010s. The Doctor used his sonic screwdriver to open a vortex, which swallowed the Blitzer. The TARDIS was parked on the stage. The Doctor revealed it to Danny Pink as Clara Oswald explained everything to him.
As the Skovok Blitzer didn't go far, the next day it re-entered the school hall through the vortex, and chased Clara out of the room. (TV: The Caretaker)

Coal Hill Academy[[edit] | edit source]
After major renovations to the campus in 2016 (TV: The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo) and a name change to Coal Hill Academy, the 2016 Autumn Prom was held in the main hall on 14 October.
While preparing for the prom alone, a Shadow Kin pinned April MacLean's hand down. When Corakinus materialised, Andrea Quill handed her a displacement gun, and instructed her to use it, but Charlie Smith knocked her out of the way before it could destroy her. While not killing Corakinus, his heart was sent out into space, and he began sharing April's. The three finished decorating for the prom the following day.
On the night of the prom, the Shadow Kin returned, and followed Charlie and Quill into the school hall, where all the students screamed and fled. (TV: For Tonight We Might Die)
The Coal Hill School Orchestra had a concert in the school hall sometime in November of 2016, between 7 PM and 1 AM. That same month, Miss Quill met Dorothea Ames in the school hall to begin on their quest to remove her arn. Once Ballon materialised, the three together entered the metaphysical engine, where they completed a number of tasks in a variety of locations to meet their end goal.
Once they retrieved the pheromones of an arn, the blood of a Lorr, and the head of a Quill, Headmistress Ames pretended that something had gone wrong, and they had to return to the school hall.
In fact, they had arrived at a hologram of the school within the Cabinet of Souls, which Ames calculated increased the chances of Quill's surgery working, as the closest thing to Rhodian soil. Though Ames returned home, and appeared to them only as a hologram herself, Ballon operated on Miss Quill on the floor of what appeared to be the school hall, and successfully removed the arn from her head.
To celebrate, the pair had sex in the hall, and, afterwards, feeling sand on the floor, Miss Quill realised they were not where they seemed to be. (TV: The Metaphysical Engine, or What Quill Did)
In December, Charlie activated the Cabinet of Souls and wiped out the Shadow Kin. In the aftermath April awoke in Corakinus' body. (TV: The Lost)
