The city's economy began to collapse, with interest being high on their debt and the finances being drained. The city's mayor was Mary Mulberry, and, culturally, many buildings had been named after "legendary figures" in Manchester's history.
At 08:30AM at some point in 2424, Gerry pleaded with the mayor to be honest to the public about the economy, but she had him silenced as she deemed him a whistle-blower.
