Annos was a Time Lord soldier and an ally of Romana II.

Biography

Early life

Annos trained with Janartis and, like him, became a Captain of the Chancellery Guard. When the Gallifreyan Civil War broke out, Annos sided with President Romana, serving under Commander Hallan, whilst Janartis sided with Imperiatrix Pandora. (AUDIO: Fractures)

Civil War

Annos fought against Pandora's forces when they attacked Romana's base in the Maelstrom Cloisters and accompanied Romana, Leela, Narvin and Hallan into the Outlands. He went with Leela and Narvin to Elbon's medical station and encountered Janartis on the battlefield when he and his men attacked them on their journey, later leading the enemy away from Leela and Narvin so that they could escape to the Anomaly Vault. Annos helped defend their new base at the Gallifreyan Academy from Janartis and, despite being wounded, set up solar panels to absorb the energy of his pulse cannon. He helped Leela get the unconscious Hallan within the partition boundary and was later sent by Romana to keep an eye on Elbon and get his concussion seen to. He lay in wait for Darkel's forces to return to the Academy and arrested them, stunning Janartis to keep his bug bomb from detonating. (AUDIO: Warfare)

Post-war

During the Sunari attack on the Capitol, Annos helped Leela recover K9 Mark II so that he could raise the transduction barriers, in the course of which he fought several of the Sunari. His communicator was broken, so he had to search for a working one to inform Captain Henzil that he and Leela had managed to find K9. (AUDIO: Appropriation) He was later appointed Acting-Castellan.

Annos allowed the incarcerated Romana to speak privately with Leela and K9 and ensured that Robersuun would see to her needs in his absence. He was in charge of security during Darkel and Lord Matthias' debate at the Panopticon and failed to capture Janartis after he shot Darkel in the shoulder, going on to hunt him in the catacombs. He informed Narvin after Darkel told him to ensure that the assassin was killed and ensured that he was captured alive. He later arrested Darkel before she was released as a political prisoner. Although he was not told why, Annos was charged by President Matthias with exterminating a quota of pig-rats every day and thus spent a lot of time in the Vaults. Narvin had him escort Leela to the meeting of the High Council and he later accompanied Narvin, Matthias and Mephistopheles Arkadian to the CIA headquarters. When the Time Lords infected with the Dogma Virus attacked, Annos and his guards were overrun. He asked Matthias what to do but got no answer. (AUDIO: Panacea)
