Rumours
- The Doctor will be shot down by a Dalek only to be comforted by Rose Tyler. He is initially unconsious however he wakes up in time to have a few words with Miss Tyler. Dialogue included is rumoured to be; "Missed you." "Missed you too." Although the person that overheard did stress that it was said very quitley and this may not be the case.
- Another line of dialogue said to feature in this episode is "Don't use project Indigo, it's not safe."
- This episode is to feature Davros.
- This episode marks the return of Captain Jack Harkness.
- Gwen Cooper and Ianto Jones briefly appear when Jack is recruited once more by the Doctor. However pictures of filming indicate he is alone when he looks up and says, "that's just impossible." It is unclear as to what he is looking at as it may be either the disappearing stars as seen in the mid-series trailer or possible the TARDIS itself, or maybe whatever Rose Tyler was looking at also in the trailer.
