50 Cluedo Games To Be Won! was a 21 competition printed in TV Century 21. Although the prize was unrelated to the Doctor Who universe, it heavily involved the Daleks.
The competition was started in TV21 58 where the rules and prizes were outlined. It was set largely in-universe, being hosted by Agent Twenty One from the Universal Secret Service. He stated the competition was a sample observation test used in the selecting of Senior Special Agents. Additionally, the test was stated to be the first hurdle which every office agent had to overcome before embarking on the full training course at the USS spy school, where they would be taught computer engineering, toy design and repair, karate, hypnotism, and armed and unarmed combat. Notably, the competition marked the first substantial crossover between the DWU and The Man from U.N.C.L.E., following a brief reference to the series in the short story Time Barrier Busted, by visually depicting Illya Kuryakin alongside the Daleks. It was also yet another crossover with elements from Fireball XL5, Stingray and Thunderbirds.
For a chance of winning, readers had to identify the deliberate mistakes in the six images printed on the page, as well as write an alternative clue to picture B. The closing date was 10 March 1966. It was stated that the fifty correct entries which, in the opinion of the judges, provided the best alternative clue would be declared the winners and each receive a Waddington Cluedo Game. Two hundred runners-up each received a Waddington Jigsaw. It was announced the names of the winners would be printed in TV21 65 on 16 April and this proved to be accurate.
